Nestled along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway in Corona Del Mar, The Quiet Woman is a distinguished restaurant and live music bar that masterfully blends coastal elegance with vibrant nightlife energy. Renowned for its refined yet welcoming atmosphere, this local gem effortlessly invites guests to savor an evening of exceptional cuisine, craft cocktails, and memorable company.
The Quiet Woman’s menu is a celebration of sophisticated flavors inspired by fresh ocean fare and hearty, thoughtfully prepared dishes. Diners rave about the luscious Swordfish, served thick-cut and mesquite grilled to smoky perfection, complemented by a rich kalamata garlic butter sauce and creamy mashed potatoes. Equally enticing is the Nantucket caramelized scallops paired with cauliflower purée and a bright roasted red pepper sauce that delivers a harmonious balance of delicate sweetness and vibrant acidity. Not to be missed is the Short Rib Pappardelle, featuring tender beef short rib generously coated in rich, savory pasta ribbons, and the Steak Frites Maison, a classic elevated by perfectly cooked meat and crispy fries.
For those seeking playful, inventive drinks, The Quiet Woman offers the signature QW Sugar Dog cocktail — a refreshing, ruby grapefruit-inspired delight that perfectly complements the evening’s tastes. Guests also enjoy bold mezcal concoctions like the "Smoke on the Beach," making each visit a spirited adventure in mixology.
The dining atmosphere at The Quiet Woman captures an intimate yet buzzing vibe that makes it feel like you’re part of an exclusive, ongoing celebration. Whether you’re nestled into the iconic booth featured in Real Housewives OC, as many visitors deliberately reserve, or mingling with a lively weekend crowd enjoying 90s cover tunes, the energy remains sophisticated and inviting rather than overwhelming. Attentive and personable service heightens the experience, with staff going above and beyond to ensure comfort and memorable moments — from taking spontaneous group photos to thoughtfully shifting guests away from rowdy tables.
The side dishes at The Quiet Woman are equally spectacular, adding depth and texture to every plate. Highlights include char-grilled broccoli tossed with caramelized garlic and a subtle sauté of jalapeños that offer a crunchy, flavorful kick; the creamy cauliflower with yogurt, lemon, walnuts, dates, and parmesan that melds sweet and tangy notes beautifully; and the perfectly roasted brussels sprouts garnished with sesame seeds, wontons, and fresh mint.

10/10 time! Our friend group came to Newport for one our friend’s birthday and we had such a great time here! The martinis are great and our server was so amazing! She took a group photo for us in the booth and even had someone come pull the dangling light in the middle away. The martinis are big bc they come with more to pour on the side. The calamari was some of the best calamari I have ever had! Around 9:00 live music did start, but we enjoyed singing along
DELICIOUS. Definitely will go back when it town again. The atmosphere was great. The hostess (manager I believe) noticed the table she had planned to sit us at had a rowdy group so she asked if we'd prefer to sit away from them. Just for her to notice that is top service. I had lamb chops...amazing & my husband had "the best steak of his entire life" (his words). The chef even noticed my husband interested in the kitchen and invited him back there to look at the oven and how they operate in such a small space. WONDERFUL TIME. GOOOOO!!!
We had a fabulous fun time at The Quiet Woman. If you watch Real Housewives OC, you know The Quiet Woman is an iconic spot on the show. My friend Jake and I were visiting Newport Beach and made reservations to specifically sit in the iconic booth as well. The service was great, Julius the host was super friendly as well as the waitstaff! Our drinks were strong and delicious, just how we like them! The cheese garlic bread was so tasty. We ordered the crab legs & lamb, both were amazing! The crab legs were meaty and delicious! There was also a live band playing which was super fun! 10/10 recommend!
Bustling busy full of late night bar goers on weekend, great food. Had Nantucket scallops, husband and friends had ribeye. the Thai coconut mussels were delicious app, as well as calamari. Husband had smoke on the beach mezcal drink, we had sugar dog which was like a greyhound with ruby grapefruit. Fun night. Music was fine, like 90s covers. Band could have been little better but still enjoyable. Fun night it gets quite loud. lots of people watching.

I've always wanted to come here after seeing it on The Real Housewives of OC. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The location is smaller than I thought but I love the intimacy. A reservation is highly recommended. The surrounding area offers many other places to stop by after enjoying a wonderful dinner.
